Moron Of The Month #4 Revealed

Everyone was wrong this past month; that’s right, there is no winner of the game this month, but it was a tough one. The April fool, or moron as it were, isn’t just a moron in my books; he’s an annoying shmuck of a moron - it’s Bill Maher.
In case you haven’t heard of him (and you’d be the lucky ones), Bill Maher is an *ahem* comedian, and has hosted a few shows including Politically Incorrect and Real Time with Bill Maher.
That’s right, liberal’s banding together again to sucker more air time for lousy, obnoxious, manipulative shows to spew their politic and deceive the naive.
But Wait!
Bill Maher claims that he doesn’t have a political conviction on either side of the fence, kinda like his religious views: he’s a libertarian and an agnostic.
I guess he thinks by playing middle of the road, he’ll keep his job one way or another.
What the moron doesn’t realise is that most of us knowledgeable people see through it, especially when he shows his true colours to the world. When speaking of former President Bush on the controversy of Hurricance Katrina relief, Maher bantered:
“The president said much of the aid is going towards job training. And when they heard that, the people of New Orleans rose as one and said, ‘Can we start with you?’”
…
“Seriously, Mr. President, this job can’t be fun for you anymore. There’s no more money to spend; you used up all of that. You can’t start another war because you also used up the army. And now, darn the luck, the rest of your term has become the Bush family nightmare: helping poor people.”
Sure, there, Maher. You’re not liberal at all.
And, there’s further proof of where his political values lie when Maher claims to be pro-military, but is shown otherwise:
“Forget about bringing the troops home Iraq – we need to get the troops home from World War II,” Maher said. “Can anybody tell me why in 2009, we still have more than 50,000 troops in Germany and 30,000 in Japan? At some point these people are going to have to learn to rape themselves.”
Sure, moron Maher, you really support the military there, don’t you? Something a… LIBERAL… might do - knocking down the military.
In fact, his comment was such a disappointment to the US military that former Army Staff Sergeant David Bellavia spoke on the matter in support of military efforts:
“The fact is that the German people would be the first to protest our leaving their country,” Bellavia continued. “Areas like Vilseck would have no economy without American business and young foolish soldiers emptying their bank accounts on the German local scene.”
Maher further proves he’s a moron full of sh*t when he claims that the Iraq war was a failure and “…suggested on the February 24, 2006 episode of Real Time that Iraq was better off under Saddam Hussein and that the U.S. cannot control the sectarian violence like Saddam Hussein did.”
Listen here, moron. The Iraq was wasn’t a failure; the people who represented the opposition to the war (the anti-war moonbats) were the failures. Quite a shameful and embarrassing display.
And, he further disgraces himself by getting pulled from the show, Politically Incorrect, during the 9/11 aftermath by agreeing with his guest who called the terrorists “warriors”:

Maher had dared to allow one of his guests, conservative author Dinesh D’Souza, to express the then-politically incorrect view that the 9/11 attackers were “warriors” rather than cowards. Maher not only tolerated that opinion, he agreed with it.)
Well, I’m just waiting on his next moronic move to get him canceled from his Real Time show.
Moron.
Of course, the most obvious display of moron Maher’s true political ties is in the fact that he was open about his support for Obama’s presidency (oh, and don’t forget he’s also a contributor on the Huffington Post site).
But, really, Maher’s not about politics… he’s about *ahem* comedy.
I mean, what’s funnier than making fun of the disabled, right?
Real funny. *ahem*
But, I think most notably, Bill Maher has made himself recognised for his anti-religious point of view.
Maher mistakenly seems to believe that religion performs under a guise of morality in order to enforce its prohibitions on society. What he doesn’t realise is that without the morality and prohibitions which religion provides, societies would collapse.
Law alone does not glue a culture - just study all the atheistic and apathetic parents out there who don’t know where their children are and what they’re getting into. They don’t hold onto any significant values, so guess how their kids are turning out… they’re the disrespectful and ignorant runts getting into trouble and causing terror for others.
Of course, there are strays from all walks of life, but having nothing to turn to or keep them in line is certainly not aiding their progress as competent, respectful adults.
Further, Maher considers religious belief as a neurological disorder and argues that “an immoral person is one who harms others through activities such as murder, rape, and greed.”
Well, guess what, Maher - you’re the one screwed in the head and full of immorality. You’re the one raping the minds of the naive while stealing their money… and of course, let’s not forget… you’re the one killing comedy!

Always cracks me up when I hear someone talk about nationalizing health care, and then call themselves a libertarian. WTF??
Maher is part of the left that basically wants everything given to him for free, wants to be able to smoke crack legally, and have gay sex on park benches out in public during the middle of the afternoon.
He’s like a child that has never been able to grasp the concept of common decency, personal responsibility, and actually earning what you get instead of having mommy (the govt) hand it to you.

Dear Samantha, I’m sorry to say it’s been ages since I’ve popped over here! Oh, what I’ve been missing! Great skewering of a phony windbag, posing as a Libertarian mainly because he thinks it elevates his low behavior to some sort of political protest!

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are financially unsustainable. This country is spending itself into oblivion (a la the USSR) and we are all going to go over the waterfall sooner or later. It is partisan bullshit like yours that only accelerates the process. The troops need to come home - the US is broke and we can’t afford to support them any longer by printing more money.
