I would love to see a new version of the television show Married... with Children, wouldn't you? That is, if it could manage to stay out of the world of political correctness.

No. No remake, pleeeze. It would suck.
The actors in the original made the show. They made it their own just as Harrison For IS Indiana Jones or Han Solo. Nobody could play them better.
They could, of course, do it totally differently like Tim Burton's recent remake of Charlie et la Chocolate Factory. Maybe Tim Burton should redo Married.. with Children?
No, it wouldn't work. Nothing would. If they did a remake they'd just 'make it darker' like every bloody thing else these days. Everything is 'darker'. I hate 'darker'. It's so overused. Leave the classics alone.
