Bringing Families Closer To Schools
I've got to thank my lucky stars that they didn't have this when I was growing up. Thanks to One Webmaster's Blog, I have learned that there is an online programme called Edline that schools can use to share up-to-date information with parents and students.
Parents and students from K-12 will be able to track their progress in school, as well as check on absences, school schedules, lunch menus, homework, assignments, sports, school news, club websites, teacher's websites, and et cetera.
This programme only works for schools that have signed up with it, so if it sounds like a good thing to you, perhaps bring it up to your school's attention because they may not know about it.
Like I commented in One Webmaster's Blog, I'll bet my mom will wish she had that when I was growing up... not that I frequently ditched class or anything. Not lil ol' me. I'm innocent, I swear.

Most certainly! Glad it wasn't around when I was in school but it's great to see it now- I wrote mail just this morning to the superintendant and asst. superintendant of my school district about this. Can't wait to see what they have to say.
