Roadside Swag
We all know that road signs get stolen all the time, right, but in Austria, they are having a heck of a time with some British road sign thieves.
As ROFASix notes, "Mayor Siegfried Hauppl has a problem [with] Brits who keep stealing his city’s road signs that contain the name of his town. Hauppl is the mayor of the Austrian village of Fucking."
ROFASix goes on to suggest that the mayor contact US towns like Blue Balls, Intercourse, and Climax to determine how to handle his problem.
May I also add a list of Canadian towns that the mayor can look into in fighting this evil crime: Stoner, Dildo, Spread Eagle, Pecker's Point, and Sackville among others?

There's a street in a subdivision here named RedBud - I've had my eye on that one for a while.

The ironic thing about the towns of Blue Ball and Intercourse, Pennsylvania is that they are practically next to each other and were both named by the Amish. I always thought those people had no sense of humor...

Iowa City has an ordinance that requires them to have signs posted notifying the public that the city is a Nuclear Free zone.

In 1985 the City Council of Iowa City declared the city a nuclear free zone; signs noting this fact, such as this one on Dubuque Street, are usually found near city limits.
I feel SO much safer to know that a City a half hour drive has taken such steps to ensure that possession of a Nuclear Bomb will be illegal.
The problem is? They keep dissappearing and they cost about $80 a shot.
I am trying to picture a City Cop enforcing that statute.
Put the Atomic bomb on the ground and raise your hands in the air.
Put the atomic bomb on the ground and------------
White noise.

Oh, man. I want a sign from each of those towns. How cool would that be?
