Mechanics - ARG!!!
Is anyone else finding that mechanics are sucking worse than ever these days? Ever since fuel injection systems and diagnostic machines, mechanics seem to be unable to determine and fix simple problems. At least, this is what I've come across in the past while. At first, I thought it was because I was female and they were trying to do their standard "rip off the female" routine, but then the same thing happened to MR. BIG. They just don't seem to know how to use their heads and listening skills to solve the dilemmas. I'm about ready to take a course and fix my own damn cars. "The problem's fixed, that'll be $2000", and 2 days later the car acts up again. "That'll be another $200". ARG!

You can blame the computers-lol. Looking under the hood of a newer car it looks to me like you need a degree in rocket science to figure anything out. I drive a 1967 Plymouth Fury III- still has a mechanical fuel pump and GASP! a carburetor; but most mechanics over the age of 30 know how to fix it- LOL.

Yeah, the bastards at Holden will charge you $70 to just look at your car and tell you what it MIGHT be. But it'll cost another $140 to TRY and fix it and SEE if it works. After that you might have to pay more. What crock!
