Morbid Or Beautiful?
I find this so cool, and a little disgusting. lol. Diane's Stuff has an article on a body exhibit held in Atlanta at the Tampa Museum of Science and Industry. However, it seems the Florida Anatomical Board wouldn't like to see the show open to the public.
My Take On The Issue:
I have a slight fascination with the world of forensics, and perhaps an exhibit would help people get less horrified by how we look inside if we could see it displayed and get a little more in touch with ourselves.
It would be nice to have anatomy displayed rather than be only for the medical profession. I'd like to see how I look inside without having to refer only to pictures in books and such. The most I've done is dissect a shark of some type and other lame biology experiments. There is much to learn and appreciate if we're given the chance, even if it is just a museum piece, we could at least get a little more comfortable with what we look like on the inside.

Hi nice site
also agree about anatomy, read some info about how leonardo da vinci was rejected by many people as he did dissection work on dead bodies which lead to him making lot of interesting discoveries at the time. Seems not much changed since then, although there is a limit to how much can see I suppose need permission from the person

Thanks Alan, you're on my blogroll too. I'm from Canada, though, no worries. Ancestry from Scotland, what's it like, must be beautiful; hope to head that way one day for a visit.

Do you watch The Forensic Files on Court TV Samantha? I love that show. An interesting note- someone replied to that post I made and said what a great stock buy it is, LOL, but also said that there are packs of unsmoked cigarettes being left on the display case showing the diseased lung of a smoker.
