Our little buddy, Bob Denver, died Friday at the age of 70. Best known for his role as Gilligan on Gilligan's Island, Denver played a buffoonish character who got shmucked on the head by the Skippers hat on a regular basis and botched several attempts by the stranded 7 to get off the island. Denver will surely be missed, but never forgotten.

Earlier this year he had a quadruple bypass, then in April he had his voicebox removed due to cancer, and Friday the cancer finally got the best of him. This year must have been tough on him and his family.
