Top 100 Toys
Here's a little stroll down memory lane. TV Cream shares a poll of the top 100 toys.
Although many are popular, and maybe I missed it, but I think Barbie, GI Joe, Etch-A-Sketch, and Easy Bake ovens should be on that list.
Is your favourite toy on there, and if not, what is it?

I actualy still have all of my Tonka trucks. I'm sure my kids will enjoy them and my grand kids some day. Try that with todays CRAP toys.

How come Santa never brought be the Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Scents Kitchen? I swear that I was a good girl in 1984!
I need to borrow somebody's children so that I can go into Walmart and not blush while buying all of the new Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Pony toys. :p

Ah, it was nice to see The Six Million Dollar Man on that list. Were Lego's listed or did I just miss them?

Every Christmas, without fail, I asked for Rock'em Sock'em Robots. Every Christmas, without fail, I wouldn't get them. I don't know why that was; I don't think they were exceedingly expensive, overly noisy and certainly not as violent as some of the things I got. Then, when I was 16 and had stopped asking for them, there they were under the tree. I probably got more out of them then than if I had been younger. I kept them for years. Once I had a bunch of guys over to the house to watch Monday Night Football. About ten guys, all in their 20s to 40s. They saw the Robots on a shelf in my basement and ... well, forget the football. It was Rock'em Sock'em tournament time! Of course, the game wasn't designed for our large, beefy paws and the torque grown men could exert. I think both 'bots suffered technical knock-outs.

Two words: SILLY. PUTTY. All other toys and games pale in comparison.
