Moron of the Week - 13 - Saddam Hussein Lucky number 13. That is so fitting for Saddam Hussein.

Yes, since Saddam Hussein is the moron, it means that Tales of the stupid is the winner and has defeated Peace of my mind.

Congratulations Tales of the stupid.

After 24 years of being a repressive dictator - 24 years of getting 100% of the vote in every election, that is - the world finally got a glimps of how moronic Saddam Hussein really is.

Early on, Saddam seemed to be running Iraq well... well, as far as we could tell (who knows what was going on behind the scenes in terms of violence and oppression). Prior to the Iran-Iraq War, Saddam's rule had improved living standards for the country by giving women more freedoms and offering them high-level government and industrial jobs. He also created a Western-style legal system, and saw himself as a social revolutionary and moderniser.

But, when he decided to fight into the several billions against Iran just to keep his dictatorial position, he ignored the needs of his country and bottomed out the economy. Now in debt to roughly $75 billion, Iraq was in an economic crisis and Saddam thought to get greedy for some oil, so he hit on Kuwait.

The moron blamed Kuwait, claiming that they were slant drilling from his country's oil wells, but that was only after he tried to pressure Kuwait into dropping $30 billion of his war debt to no avail and after he claimed that Kuwait should not have even existed in the first place.

During the war Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, didn't have WMD, did have WMD, didn't... did....

The d*mn fool is making us all feel as crazy as he is... well, no one's THAT bad.

So, we all know that Saddam was driven out of Kuwait after a pitiful defeat against the US. But, didn't that just p*ss us all off when he routinely claimed that his survival was 'proof' that Iraq had won the war against America?

A darned liar, is what he is.

(But, hopefully he will be proven wrong by the end of his trial as he dangles for his crimes)

And, what an absolute moron he was to think he could getting away with trying to assassinate former US President George H.G. Bush during a visit to Kuwait. Now, he not only had to deal with US retaliation, but his impending doom against the man's son, George W.

Although it's not the only reason to be at war, let me tell you, if anyone attempted to kill one of my parents, I'd do everything in my power to f*ck the b*st*rd over, too.

And, for as long as we can remember, the idiot's been giving money to families of suicide bombers who attacked Israel. What a moron he is if he thought for a second that that wouldn't come back to bite him in the a$$.

Oh and let's not forget that the moron's a hypocrite, too. After promising his daughters that he wouldn't kill them or their husbands if they returned to Iraq, Saddam had them hunted down and killed both of the husbands.

A pathetic loser hiding behind his regime.

But, his country clearly didn't stick up for him too much because in April 2003, his statue was toppled in Baghdad. A wonderful symbol of the freedom about to emerge.

And, I won't go into the numerous, unjust killings, torture, and brutal and sickening mistreatment of others the moron did (in the thousands) - because that's just not funny - so I will only mention how the loser was finally nabbed by the troops in 2003 and is now on trial for his stupidity.

Found cowering like a chicken in a spider hole, Saddam looked like a rebellious hippy (how ironic because he certainly wasn't peace-loving) rather than the regal notable he tried to make himself out to be.

Now, with the trial in progress, we are seeing what a total lack of intelligence the fool has as he whines and complains the whole way through court proceedings and threatens the lives of those around him (of course, we know about the murders and kidnapping already).

And, didn't we all love the view of Saddam in his tighty-whiteys?

Hey, where's the sh*t stains from when they caught him in his hole?

While we're at it, why isn't that what he looks like at his trial? He doesn't have any business dressing and looking all professional with his barbered head and facial hair.

That's the false idol, not the real Saddam on trial.

Let's show him for the f*cktard rat that he is rather than the next Iraqi Idol with his preppy look.

As was said in washingtonpost.com,

"If anything, Hussein should be brought in wearing prison garb, perhaps in shackles, just for effect."

Well, whatever the outcome of the trial, at least we know one thing for sure: Saddam Hussein is a moron.

OT - Camelot Destra Ideale - you probably sent the trackback before you had a link to Sam's site or Sam's site had trouble contacting your site when you sent the ping.
