He's not the man he used to be...

I was sitting back taking in the news this morning when I came across a rather disturbing story. It appears that a 21-year-old North Vancouver man was in the bathroom playing with a gun. At first sight of the story, I knew that the "gold lining" to this story was that the fellow wasn't in the bathroom reading Sam's blog, or talking to her on the phone- as we all know how much she dislikes the idea of that. He was however sitting on the toilet when the gun he was playing with went off.
POLICE in a Vancouver suburb reminded residents it was not a good idea to play with a loaded gun while using the bathroom, after a man accidentally shot himself.I can only imagine the men sitting at home right now, thinking just how awfully painful that would be. I mean ouch. Imagine, you're just sitting there, pants down around your knees minding your own business, playing with a loaded gun (no... not THAT kind) when BANG it just goes off. Next thing you know... you're only a fraction of the man you once were.
As with Sam's post mentioned before, there are just some things one should not do while sitting on the potty- playing with a loaded weapon should be one that just goes on the list without anyone having to say it. I'm guessing that for this guy he just had to learn the hard way.
I know that by now, you are just dying to know what it was that this idiot shot off....
don't worry- it was only his finger.
"Apparently the male was playing with a handgun while using the bathroom and inadvertently shot his finger off," the RCMP said in a new release. The RCMP also warned of the dangers of playing with guns while using the toilet, saying "it was not a good idea." More

I had a horrible premonition that he'd used the 'business end' for the purpose of wiping his 'business end'
