Real, Fake, Or Just Plain Messed Up?
Try taking the real or fake quiz.
It's not all that difficult, but it is a time waster.
Some of it can be a little gross, but what I'd like to know is where some of those photos are from and the stories behind them.
Speaking of fake, some think the cyclops kitty uninventively named Cy may be the first spoof of the year.

You answered 36 items out of 40 correctly.
Your score is 90%. Excellent job!

Why is it all scoring must give a little pat on the back if you do well? Just give me the fricken score and I'll decide if I did well or not.

The furor over the Cy thing is odd. That's not an unheard of birth defect so I don't know why people are getting so bent out of shape about it. A problem in the sonic hedgehog gene (seriously... that's its real name) causes midline deformations all the way down. That results in one eye and no nose (or a deformed nose above the eye). Anything born with defects that serious is usually stillborn or dies soon after because there are internal midline problems also that affect the organs.
This can affect just about any animal, including humans. Check out these pics (warning: they're a little graphic and disturbing):
