I've noticed, that Sam has been doing a great job luring innocent people into guest blogging here, which is great... for the readers. See, what you as the readers don't know is that working for Sam is extremely demanding.
We're talking whips and chains.
Of course- I told jimmyb he didn't have to really wear them, that they were more for "appearances" than actual use. But something about the way he was smiling leads me to believe he might have sort of liked them.
You should have known that there was good reason why The Platypus Society's post was about freaky dirty little secrets and blogging.
Well, being that I'm married into a union, and jimmyb is in a union- we got together last night and decided to start UGBU- United Guest Bloggers Union. The UGBU is there for every guest blogger- demanding prevailing wage, uniformed health care and a fair working week.
At first we were concerned that Sam might bring in scab workers, but then jimmyb mentioned how we have more guns talent than any scab does. So, we're not really worried about that anymore.
We were going to schedule a meeting with Sam to discuss our demands, but I really didn't want to go to Canada without having beer, and you know how Canadians don't like beer.
Thankfully, early this morning The Platypus Society had a chance to go over our demands with Sam:
On behalf of the UGBU, I would like to thank Sam, for being such a great boss- and for willingly paying us what she makes.... so kind of her isn't it?
All that being said- I'd like to take a moment to direct you to the bottom left hand corner of the page. Go ahead, look down real quick. See that great little Amazon link? Well, if you happen to click it, it takes you to Sam's Amazon page. And guess what? Her birthday is April 7th. I heard shipping is real slow in Canada, so I thought I would point out the April 7th deadline a little early.
You know, just for the fun of it.
I also heard that she's willing to use those whips and chains on whoever guesses her age correctly. But that's just FYI- so don't go spreading it around.

It's a bloody hell of a stupid commercial, and I don't miss it anyhow. Besides, you can't lure a Canadian with outsider beer when we've got the best, lol.

Gee, I guess that's good for y'all, but I misread the post title and though I was in for a post by (or interview with) Chief Squatndrop from the Nowipee tribe, who is famously know to have uttered the sage advice,
"Uggauggaboo, uggaboo boo ugga."
(BTW, lest anyone mistake me, the Nowipee tribe is composed entirely of pospeople from the planet Dumbass Moonbat, lost on this planet for millennia and just recently come into their own as news anchors, politicians and Hollyweirdites... )
