Help... I Think... I'm Having... A Heart... Attack...
This is probably the most disgusting thing I've seen in a long time.
It's the Krispy Kreme cheeseburger - with bacon.
How can anyone possibly eat meat with a sugary donut?
Talk about wasting the delicious meaty taste. And, they say it's a 1000 calorie burger. Ya, looks beastly enough to be that bad for you.
Hey, and speaking of putrid, life-threatening edibles, what's with people from the US liking Krispy Kremes, anyhow?
I had one once (we have a Krispy Kreme factory here, too, but it's an out-of-the-way drive), and I could barely finish it. It was just way too sweet for me.
Is it like a US phenomenon, or only certain classes of people enjoy it, or what's up with that? I only mention this because I see people talk about it all the time on tv and even see the frantic crowds at US Krispy Kreme locations waiting to snag themselves a box.
Please inform me because I'm out of the loop on the Krispy Kreme craze.

Sorry, but we're just mad for KKs in our office. There's just something about they make your teeth "bristle" when they sink into the sugary fat.
I subscribe to the KK email newsletter and there's an audible groan when they announce once again that a new store will be opening.. nowhere near us! Now, whenever someone from client servicing goes into London by train they have to bring back a mixed box of 12. It's the rules !

That is hedious. But I do not like donuts. They do not taste like meat so I stay away from them.
BBQ ribs, chicken, and brisket sound good.

Ewwww! That is severely nasty! I wonder who the genius was behind that?

Well, I was going to say that I'll try one, but in the interest of avoiding ostracism:
Boo! Hiss!! Gross!

Well, meet one of the largest reasons for American obesity. People actually have donuts for breakfast. They are so sugary that after one, my stomach can't handle anymore and I get sick. I wonder if anyone has sued KK for obesity like McDonalds got sued..

We like the KK because they are lighter and fluffier than most other glazed doughnuts. That, and they're not afraid to take a glazed doughnut and put chocolate on it! Boo'yeah!

I think the whole KK craze is due to the fact that they're made fresh. Buy a box that you see in a gas station or grocery store, and Krispy Kreme or not, they taste pretty much the same as any other donut.
That picture is absolutely disgusting.

Talkin' bout food always brings out the commenters hey Sam?

Part of it's a regional thing and part of it just boils down to taste. I hate Krispy Kreme doughnuts, they are far too dense and yeasty for me. I'll take a pre-fab Dunkin' Donut anyday of the week.
Another part of the apparent appeal is that you can see the doughnuts being made at some Krispy Kreme locations.

Lol, peemil, that's it, I'm only writing Krispy Kreme articles from now on.
Thanks to everyone for informing me, I've been stumped by this phenomenon for a while now.
