Moron of the Week - 44 - Mahmoud Admedinejad
The win this week goes to imaginekitty who knew that the moron was Iranian President Mahmoud "Madman" Ahmadinejad. This means that The Waterglass is out for this week and imaginekitty is in.

Okay, there is no doubt that you are a moron if you deny the existence of the Holocaust, and that’s just what Madman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has described the Holocaust as "a myth" and suggested that Israel be moved to Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska.

"They have invented a myth that Jews were massacred and place this above God, religions and the prophets," Ahmadinejad said in a speech to thousands of people in the Iranian city of Zahedan, according to a report on Wednesday from Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.

"The West has given more significance to the myth of the genocide of the Jews, even more significant than God, religion, and the prophets," he said. "(It) deals very severely with those who deny this myth but does not do anything to those who deny God, religion, and the prophet."

"If you have burned the Jews, why don't you give a piece of Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska to Israel," Ahmadinejad said.

"Our question is, if you have committed this huge crime, why should the innocent nation of Palestine pay for this crime?"

I mean, this isn’t something that happened centuries ago, and therefore, can be somewhat contested.

There are actual living people who can attest to such an event.

H*ll, my grandma talks to me about living during that period, for gosh sakes.

And, let’s not forget the f-ing physical evidence and all the families that were wiped out by it.

Moron.

You’ve got to be dumb as snot for denying reality.

And, a few days ago on 60 Minutes with Mike Wallace, the Iranian president proved to be even more moronic when he spewed cr*p about how the US needs to be a more peaceful nation, and at the same time, the doofus threatened lives:

Speaking about President Bush's failure to answer his 18-page letter that criticized U.S. foreign policy, Ahmadinejad said, "Well, (with the letter) I wanted to open a window towards the light for the president so that he can see that one can look on the world through a different perspective. … We are all free to choose. But please give him this message, sir: Those who refuse to accept an invitation will not have a good ending or fate.

Dumba$$.

And, perhaps something that is just as moronic is that some people claim that Madman is not anti-semetic.

Uh, ya right. This is the same f*cknut who called for Israel to be annihilated.

“As the Imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map," said Ahmadinejad, referring to Iran's revolutionary leader Ayat Allah Khomeini.

His comments were the first time in years that such a high-ranking Iranian official has called for Israel's eradication, even though such slogans are still regularly used at government rallies.

Sounds pretty anti-semetic to me.

But, you know, it’s not just the Madman who’s moronic; it’s also his supporters from the US – you know, those who are protesting the war and making outrageous claims. These are the same people that Ahmadinejad would have executed years ago if they were in his country.

“During the crackdown on universities in 1980, which Khomeini called the “Islamic Cultural Revolution�?, Ahmadinejad and the OSU played a critical role in purging dissident lecturers and students many of whom were arrested and later executed.�?

US protesters are fighting for creeps like Ahmadinejad, which sounds pretty ridiculous and somewhat ironic in a way since in other circumstances, he would have killed them for protesting.

Duh.

But, the Madman’s not just a moron in the worldwide spectrum; he is also an idiot when it comes to his personal governmental decisions.

Like, for instance, his decision to ban foreign word usage:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has ordered government and cultural bodies to use modified Persian words to replace foreign words that have crept into the language, such as "pizzas" which will now be known as "elastic loaves."

Among other changes, a "chat" will become a "short talk" and a "cabin" will be renamed a "small room."

For someone who once claimed to be “for the people�? and wanted to better their lives, he sure isn’t taking their interests and security to heart.

Rather than holding true to his promise that oil revenues would be given to civilians, he chose to alienate his country further from the rest of the world.

By resisting mainstream terminology, his people will suffer for a lack of understanding on a global scale.

But, since this is the direction he chose to go in, I thought I’d come up with a few suggestions for him.

Here’s some alternative terminology he might want to consider:

1. Diarrhea = Mahmoud
2. A$$hole = Ahmadinejad
3. Iranian Nuclear Power Sanction = Bomb

That sounds about right, doesn’t it?

Anyhow, there’s so much more moronic behaviour from this tool, but I really can’t bare to say any more.

The follow-up Moron to this should be Mike Wallace, who on yesterday's Sean Hannity radio show tried to make Ahmadinejad sound like a delightful fellow who has been unjustly maligned. Uh, Mike Wallace, get a clue: if he says 1 thing a hundred times in public and then in an interview with you says something evasive or different, you might want to give more weight to the previous 100 statements he made.

I honestly thought that Wallace was interested in dating Ahmadinejad, he gushed so mightily about the lunatic.
