Moron Revealed #43

Some of you may say that the word "moron" just does not cover it for this guy.
I have to agree.
Unfortunately, the words I would like to use are too harsh even for this blog.
So, we'll stick to moron, and yes, Dave D. from The Waterglass is correct that Noam Chomsky is this week's moron of the week.
Yay, that's right, The Waterglass didn't win it for Janeane Garofalo this time like he did last year or for Hillary Clinton.
Way to go The Waterglass.
So, why do I think so little of Chomsky?
Well, does anti-Western standards of living, anti-American, possiblly anti-semitic, anarchist explain it? It should, because that's exactly how I see the guy.
When I say anti-Western standards of living, I mean his overall audacity to speak out against personal gain and interest:
The iconic MIT linguist and left-wing activist frequently has lashed out against the "massive use of tax havens to shift the burden to the general population and away from the rich," and criticized the concentration of wealth in "trusts" by the wealthiest 1%. He says the U.S. tax code is rigged with "complicated devices for ensuring that the poor -- like 80% of the population -- pay off the rich."Yes, for shame North America. How dare you be credited for the hard work you did to get you and your family ahead in life!
I guess, however, we can lash out at Chomsky in return after learning that he is a hypocrite of his own protest:
But trusts can't be all bad. After all, Chomsky, with a net worth north of US$2-million, decided to create one for himself. A few years back he went to Boston's venerable white-shoe law firm, Palmer and Dodge, and, with the help of a tax attorney specializing in "income-tax planning," set up an irrevocable trust to protect his assets from Uncle Sam. He named his tax attorney (every socialist radical needs one!) and a daughter as trustees. To the Diane Chomsky Irrevocable Trust (named for another daughter) he has assigned the copyright of several of his books, including multiple international editions. You know, I have a theory about morons like this (and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's thought of this). I believe strongly that many idiots create controversies simply to make a buck, but end up supporting it so much and acquiring so much cult status that they begin believing the prattle they spew.
And, that makes for a very weak mind.
Now, when it comes to being anti-American, Noam Chomsky wrote the book (or was that books).
It seems the moron doubtlessly believes that
"America is the Great Satan; it is the fount of evil in the world. In Chomsky’s demented universe, America is responsible not only for its own bad deeds, but for the bad deeds of others, including those of the terrorists who struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon."Sounds a lot like what all those moonbats think, eh?
Well, that's probably because they took a page out of Chomsky's book and are now delusional, sucked in by his ideologies.
In fact, Chomsky’s influence is best understood not as that of an intellectual figure, but as the leader of a secular religious cult – as the ayatollah of anti-American hate.Their all morons, I tells ya, morons!
I'm almost certain that the Chomsky followers are the exact same people as the Ward Churchill sycophants.
Chomsky further displays his anti-American notions when he comments that there is "a close correlation worldwide between torture and U.S. aid."
Uhh... yes, there is a close correlation. And, that's because everytime there is torture, the US rushes to provide the victims aid in whatever way possible.
Duh.
He's even said something so stupid as
"legally speaking, there’s a very solid case for impeaching every American president since the Second World War. They’ve all been either outright war criminals or involved in serious war crimes."So, I guess by your sense of logic (HA!), you should be thrown in jail for aiding and abetting merely because you have this 'knowledge' and have not turned in the presidents.
Sounds stupid, doesn't it? But, no more half-baked than his utterances.
And, when it comes to the anti-semitic Chomsky, he has proven that in droves to many, although some believe otherwise. Regardless of the label, it only stands to reason that he appears to be against his own people (Jews) in some way.
Although the broader society in which Chomsky lives is not anti-Semitic, the microcosmic milieu in which he travels most certainly is. It would be, quite simply, impossible for Chomsky to retain his credibility among his fellow ideologues without adopting such attitudes. He walks, after all, in circles in which Jewish revolt or revolution is strictly forbidden. What is said here is true if you look at all the times he has sided with the 'enemy'. Like, for instance, his involvement in the Faurisson affair, as well as all of the times he has supported anti-semitic writers.
Well, that's about it for now on this moron, but I will leave you with this... Chomsky's bizarre ramblings have made him claim,
The fact of the matter is that there is no War on Terror.Uhh... ya...
That explains all the middle East bombings and gunfire.
Lol.
Anyhow, congratulations again to The Waterglass.

I'm pleased that I got the answer right for such a notorious moron.
When I was taking linguistics courses in college, I read quite a bit of Chomsky. His work in that field is brilliant, actually. It's just everywhere else that he's a moron.

As a psychologist I am very familiar with Chomsky's work, but it was only recently did I become aquatinted with his nutty pinko ideals.
As with all the anti-American, anti-western moon bats, let him go live in Iran or such and let us be rid of them!
It is the left here in the west that consider moon bats of his ilk as "bold" or "visionary" when they are just nuts that stir sh*t up.

Samantha,
I featured this thread on my internet radio show today on Wide Awakes Radio. I hope that it sent a few people over. I also mentioned the Looney pics.
Very funny as usual. Keep up the good work.

Instead of ranting him, how about disproving his theories? So typical American, anthing you don't agree on you just call "anti-american" and "anti-semetic".
Chomsky is considered one of most influential and intellectual people in the Western world, try and read some reviews of his books. Or read some of his books.
Or just read a bit more instead of getting your news from TV

Yeah! If you read what Chomsky wrote, you'd have no choice but to agree with him. Obviously, you don't understand the subtle nuances of his work.
Damn TV-watching Canucks.

Yeah! Certainly if a "typical American" reads the Chomsky books, then they MUST agree with it. Because challenging perceptions and having alternate theories would be so unintellectual.
Posted by: Sam | August 5, 2006 11:18 AM
how about disproving his theories?
Reality's got that pretty well covered, thanks.

Funny, I never took Sam to be a "typical American". ;)
What? No web page from Armin? Did he/she leave an email address?

I watched "Manufacturing Consent" last night. What a load of crap. Chomsky is a loony left moron. First, he claims that all humans have an inborn ability to be creative and that a just society should enable people to achieve their creative potential. Then he goes on to deride the role of professional sports, insinuating that it is all a big conspiracy to keep people preoccupied with trivial stuff. Huh? Just because he is athletically challenged does that stop him from seeing that professional sports is a creative outlet for people. Professional sports exist because of public demand, not because of Big Brother. What a pseudo-intellectual fucktard he is.
